Raim & Associates — a full-service printing and creative services firm specializing in healthcare, insurance, and pharmaceutical communication across the Southwest.


Role

In-house Graphic Designer — responsible for concept development, layout design, prepress production, and cross-department collaboration with account teams, proofers, and print technicians.


Challenge

Raim & Associates supported a wide range of healthcare and behavioral health organizations. Each required clear, accessible, cost-effective communications that served diverse patient populations — often bilingual — while maintaining strict brand and regulatory standards. Projects needed to be produced quickly and affordably, often in only two colors to minimize print costs.


Approach

  • Multi-Brand Healthcare Design — Created marketing materials for hospitals, retirement communities, behavioral health organizations, and insurance partners, each with unique visual requirements and audience needs.
  • Cost-Efficient Print Strategy — Designed effective two-color layouts that maintained clarity, hierarchy, and visual appeal while significantly reducing production costs.
  • Bilingual Communication — Designed newsletters, patient guides, and member handbooks in English and Spanish, ensuring clarity, cultural sensitivity, and compliance.
  • Diverse Project Types — Delivered direct mail campaigns, brochures, newsletters, wellness content, and member materials across multiple healthcare organizations.
  • Cross-Functional Production Alignment — Collaborated with account managers, proofers, and press operators to maintain accuracy and efficiency through final print production.

Outcome

Created adaptable templates and multi-format assets that streamlined production and reduced long-term design and printing costs.

Produced a high volume of patient-facing and provider-facing materials that expanded reach and improved communication across multiple healthcare organizations.
